Celebrating Chuseok
If you’re new or can’t tell by my name, I am Korean! My family moved to the States back in 2006 and while it’s just the five of us (mom + four of us children), we love celebrating Korean holidays. Chuseok is one of the two major Korean holidays along with New Year’s Day. A celebration of the harvest season, Chuseok is a time of gathering and abundance. This year, Chuseok is September 21st but my family celebrated early this weekend! Monthly Mumbles #5
Here’s a roundup of everything in the last month or so! A lot of “firsts” and a lot of Sujung happened haha. Because I have been Yelping since I graduated from college back in 2016, the local Yelp community feels like a big part of my life. While I have been loving virtual events over the last year, I was ecstatic about the last month’s first in-person Yelp event since February/March 2020. I had so much fun seeing old and new faces! How about the last Monthly Mumbles post was in March…I have no idea how but 2021 is already more than halfway over and per usual, I am barely keeping up with life!
