Letters Bookshop Sidecar Book Subscription Review
While I love my local public library, the combination of a local bookstore + monthly book subscription + surprise book picks won me over and I recently signed up for Sidecar Book Subscription by Letters Bookshop. Now after three months of having the subscription, I’m sitting down to write this review post! Spoiler alert–I love it and renewed my subscription already. If you’re not local to the Triangle or not yet familiar, Letters Bookshop is an independent bookstore located in downtown Durham that sells both new and used books. Visiting Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm
‘Tis the season! We finally got around to getting a Christmas tree for the living room this weekend. I learned about Jordan Lake Christmas Tree Farm in Apex from a friend recently and was too excited to not check it out! I mean, I had no idea we even had any Christmas tree farm in the Triangle area. Since there aren’t that many Christmas tree farms here, Jordan Lake gets pretty popular. For Thanksgiving weekend and the following weekend, they require reservations, which are free. Elevated Cheese Board with Midtown Olive Oil
Hi, friends! Last year, I visited Midtown Olive Oil and used one of their olive oils to make an olive oil cake for the first time. Since then, Alex and I have become repeat customers and have been using their olive oils and balsamic vinegars at least weekly! I recently went back and picked up a bunch of their new products that are perfect for a cheese or charcuterie board.

Hi, friends! Christmas is my favorite holiday of all time, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring you this Christmas Board with Sassool. Like the Thanksgiving Board, I used some of Sassool’s side items as well as the grocery items they carry in the market section. For this board, I ensured I added more colors to make it extra festive.
