Everything We Ate in Charleston, SC
Hi, friends! Better late than never, right? Here’s a post on everything we ate during our trip to Charleston last month. I didn’t title this post “what you should eat in Charleston” since there is an overwhelming number of great restaurants in Charleston, many of which I have yet to try. If you’re considering any of the places we went to, I hope my “review” is helpful! If you are looking to visit Charleston this summer, I recommend making reservations for a few spots you really want to visit. When we were coming up with an itinerary the week before our trip, a lot of the recommended places were booked…

What to Do in Charleston, SC
Hi, friends! After my recent trip to Charleston, I wanted to share a list of things to do (besides eating) while visiting Charleston because after two trips to the city, I am an expert. Just kidding. This post is in no way original but I hope my experiences and opinions help you in building your itinerary. What to Do and Where to Eat in Beaufort, NC
Hi, friends! A couple of weekends ago, Alex and I had a short trip to Beaufort, NC (pronounced “bow-fort”; not to be confused with Beaufort, SC, which is pronounced “b-yew-fort”). It was my first time going to the beach in years, and Beaufort was just lovely. Named “American’s Favorite Town,” Beaufort has both small town charm and rich history, not to mention the waterfront views and amazing food! If you are considering a low-key weekend getaway, I definitely recommend heading out to the coast! In today’s post, I am sharing everything we did and ate.

NC Triad Adventures (COVID-19 Take)
Hi, friends! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I took a day trip to Winston-Salem a few weeks ago. I went to college in Winston and would frequently visit pre-COVID. Welp, 2020 was weird, as we all know. It was my first time visiting in Winston since January, meaning I hadn’t been to WSNC for 10 whole months, which was definitely a record for me since I started at Salem College 8 years ago (WHAT). Anyways, I figured I would share all the fun things with did in the light of COVID since I find it helpful to see how businesses are operating with social distancing in mind.…

24 Hours in Charlottesville, VA
Hi, friends! I took a short trip to Charlottesville, Virginia for my birthday weekend a couple of weeks ago. We only stayed one night and didn’t do a WHOLE lot of stuff, but I still wanted to share what we did in case you are looking for a short weekend getaway idea.
