Our First Ever Beach Week! Pt.2 Outer Banks
Hi, friends! Back today (better late than never!!!) with part 2 of Our First Ever Beach Week! For the second leg of the trip, we booked a place in the town of Manteo in the Outer Banks. Manteo is a charming little coastal town. We were in walking distance (or a short driving distance) from downtown which we walked around every day while we were in town. Downtown Books was one of the cute local shops in Downtown Manteo. It is on the smaller side but it was packed with adorable bookish items and a great selection of titles. Hi, friends! I’m here to recap our first ever beach week, or rather the first part of it. Since Rex and I have been working from home full-time since the beginning of the pandemic (we were hybrid worker bees before), we had tossed around the idea of working from not-home, and it finally happened! Our First Utah Trip!
Hi, friends! Rex and I just returned from our “big” trip out West this year, and we had a blast! We were mostly in Utah to visit a couple of the national parks out there (both of our first time in Utah!) and flew in and out of Vegas via Southwest (both of our first time flying Southwest too). WHERE WE STAYED While in Utah, we stayed at Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort which is to the east of Zion National Park. We opted for the glamping route and stayed at one of their Conestoga Wagons. Charlottesville, Round Three!
Hi, friends! I was in Charlottesville the last few days–this was my third time visiting, and it might have been my favorite trip yet! Naturally, I wanted to share about the trip with you (as I did after my first trip to Charlottesville back in 2020). Our Honeymoon in Maine
We got married a week ago on Labor Day Sunday and just returned from our honeymoon in Maine. I definitely want to share more about the wedding in the coming weeks. In the meantime, here’s how our honeymoon went! After going back and forth between choosing a place we were familiar with (Charleston) or someplace completely new to both of us, we decided on Portland, Maine.
