Alex and I went down to Clemson this weekend for a football game (with our N-95 masks)! I visited an alpaca farm for the first time this weekend, and of course, I had to tell you all about it! About Purple Alpaca Farms After seeing a college friend visit, I immediately bookmarked Purple Alpaca Farms on Instagram (I have a collection of “Local Places to Try Soon”). Purple Alpaca Farms is a family-owned farm located in Boonville, NC. It took us right about two hours from Durham, but the bulk of the drive is a straight shot on I-40. What to Do and Where to Eat in Beaufort, NC
Hi, friends! A couple of weekends ago, Alex and I had a short trip to Beaufort, NC (pronounced “bow-fort”; not to be confused with Beaufort, SC, which is pronounced “b-yew-fort”). It was my first time going to the beach in years, and Beaufort was just lovely. Named “American’s Favorite Town,” Beaufort has both small town charm and rich history, not to mention the waterfront views and amazing food! 24 Hours in Asheville, NC
Hi, friends! I am here with my first “Travel” post in a very long time (the very first of the series was day trip to Winston-Salem back in January). Like many of you, all of my vacation plans this year were cancelled due to COVID-19 (bye Portland, bye Virginia), and I have been staying home since mid-March. This weekend, I took a short trip to Asheville, NC with Alex, my mom, and my sister Jiyoung. We were there for about 24 hours, and I wanted to share my experience with you in this post, especially in light of COVID-19.
