How is April already more than halfway over?! I’m not complaining about the longer days and warmer weather though! Last week, I had a productive week at work and watched a lot of TV in my free time (#worklifebalance). MONDAY Alex and I watched the first season of Severance in a matter of few days, and I’ve got to say it’s one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time, or perhaps ever. One of the main characters is the guy that plays Ben Wyatt in Parks & Rec so somehow I was fooled into thinking that it will be a fun, lighthearted show?! We ended up finishing…

What I Read in March 2022 + Reading Updates

Hi, friends! March was not a prolific reading month but I found meaning in each of the three books I read, which I think is a success! I’m also sharing a few more reading-related updates in this post so I hope you find them fun. 🥰 WHAT I READ IN MARCH A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith – 4.5 stars A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is an older release from 1943 and I won a copy from a Bookstagram giveaway! Hi, friends! If you missed my last blog post, I briefly talk about having taken a social media break (not posting anything & deleting IG app) for about a week and a half. I took a short break from Instagram for about the last week and a half so writing this blog post makes me feel like I’m almost resurfacing to social media, considering that I haven’t shared anything on any social media platform during this time. I have deleted Instagram a few times before, especially when my anxiety was pretty high last year, but I have never gone for this long without having Instagram since I first made an account probably back in 2012 or something. To be honest, I have been loving life without Instagram and am debating even to this moment if I should download the app again……

How Last Week Went While nothing extraordinary happened, last week was a good one! Maybe because it was an ordinary one. Most of Q1 had been hard for me so having a solidly medium week was almost like a high?! The longer days are definitely helping with my mental health too. What I’m Looking Forward to This Week I’m having a short work week and heading up to DC for a quick getaway! You know four-day work weeks are my favorite and I am very much excited to eat all of the food. THURSDAY I got to attend a cake making class with La Recette Patisserie, and it was one…
