My Everyday Makeup Recently

Hello, friends! In today’s post, I’m sharing about the makeup products that have been in heavy rotation for me. I would say about half of the products, I have been using for a couple of years and the other half are new-to-me products!

First things first, I wear sunscreen every day (though I could/should be better about reapplying throughout the day…) and my current favorite is EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46. It truly feels like lotion on the skin. I love it so much I stocked up on it during Dermstore sale recently and got a couple of extras just to gift to my family. FYI I like the Clear version a lot better than the Daily one, which I think has a weird scent.

I got a mini NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer a while back when Sephora had a mini concealer and NARS orgasm set for less than $25! Since I don’t wear base makeup every day, I’m now almost getting to the end of it and plan to repurchase it soon. I wear the shade Custard.

After years of using a finger to blend out my under-eye concealer, I now have a dedicated concealer brush. Real Techniques Expert Liquid and Cream Concealer Makeup Brush is actually second concealer brush I bought recently since the first one I got was not cutting it for me. I definitely notice the difference when I blend the concealer with this brush!

I was introduced to ILIA via Sephora’s birthday gift earlier this year (my partner who had a January birthday made an account so I could get two every year 👀). The birthday gift came with the Multi-Stick Cream and Limitless Lash Lengthening Clean Mascara. I do not care for clean beauty, which might be a controversial opinion, but I have been really liking both of these ILIA products! Most days, I don’t wear eye makeup so I haven’t used the mascara as much but I always wear blush whoever I wear makeup and have been liking the ILIA Multi-Stick Cream in At Last with NARS Blush in Orgasm, which I have the mini size of from the Sephora kit a couple of years ago

My sister Jiyoung gave me e.l.f. Instant Lift Brow Pencil Deep Brown earlier this year when she was doing a little purge. There was a bit of learning curve at the beginning because I’m more comfortable with brow powders than brow pencil, but I have been using it almost every time I do my brows! Sometimes I add Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil Waterproof Eyebrow Definer (free.99 from my sister) and/or Anastasia Clear Brow Gel Lightweight Setter (I have a couple of minis from “value sets”).

Both of my sisters have Tarte eyeshadow pallets and I had been wanting to get one for myself. I picked up a Tartelette Tease Clay Eyeshadow Palette from TJ Maxx actually and have been enjoying the top row of shadows for a light, natural eye makeup. Then I add NYX Epic Wear Liner Stick Long Lasting Eyeliner Pencil which I have been using for years and curl my (nonexistent) lashes with my Shiseido Eyelash Curler is another tried-and-true item.
