Wilmington Weekend
Hi, friends! After living in North Carolina for 16 years, I finally made it to Wilmington this past weekend. I don’t know what took me so long to visit, considering I’ve been to Charleston like five times?! I feel a little bit silly saying this but before this weekend, I thought Wilmington was a small town with UNCW and a beach nearby but it was both a lot bigger and more happening than I expected. Here’s how we spent a weekend in Wilmington: ALL THE FOOD We drove from Durham Friday morning straight to Indochine Restaurant. Indochine seems to be one of those institutions and it lived up to the…

Colorado Weekend Getaway
Hi, friends! Rex and I just returned from a long weekend in Colorado (flew in Friday morning and flew back Monday morning), and I wanted to document the trip on the blog and share more details than I did on Instagram so here we go! Since we arrived super early local time on Friday (around 7:30am MST), we had a full day ahead of us. After grabbing some coffee and a pastry and a breakfast burrito at a local neighborhood coffee shop, we headed over to Denver Art Museum. The admission is not free ($19 for out-of-state, non-member adults) but it is totally worth a visit! There is so much…

2023 LA Trip Recap
Last week, I went to LA for the first time since I first came to the United States, which was back in 2016. So basically, I was visiting for the first time haha. I don’t think I’ll ever move there (due to the cost of living, traffic, PARKING, etc.) but I had a blast and can’t wait to go back! In today’s blog post, I’m sharing my very favorites/highlights of the trip! THINGS WE ATE Hanu KBBQ – While this is not an all-you-can-eat place, Hanu provided super KBBQ experience (I would say top two for me). They have an extensive selection of banchans and the service was so friendly…

Christmas in NYC
Hi, friends! I just returned from NYC yesterday after spending a few days in the city with my sisters and cousin. This was actually my second time ever visiting NYC (my first time being back when I was in middle school) so I had to document this trip on the blog! This will be a bit of a chaotic highlight of the trip, which is an accurate representation of the trip itself. CHRISTMAS THINGS New York City in Christmas time was so special! There was Christmas decor everywhere throughout the city which really got me in the mood for the holiday season. We hit the most of the major photo…

Beacon Hill Books & Cafe in Boston
I went to Boston for my 30th birthday earlier month, and at the top of the itinerary was Beacon Hill Books & Cafe, which recently opened in Beacon Hill neighborhood. It’s seriously one of the cutest bookshops I have ever been in! It’s a four-story townhome(?) that has been beautifully renovated and converted to a bookstore. Every corner of the bookstore feels special and well-thought out. The day we went was a beautiful November day with unbelievable weather, and the bookshop was absurdly crowded (the busiest they had ever been according to one of the employees) so I couldn’t get a ton of good photos of the space. One of…
