    Monthly Mumbles 2022.11.30

Hello, folks! I am writing this on the last day of November, which possibly is my favorite month of the year, partially because it’s my birthday month and partially because it’s officially the holiday season in my books. This November was a fun and busy month. Here are all the things I was up to in November: We returned to DPAC for the first time since the pandemic began to watch Dear Evan Hansen! I had never seen the show before and heard great things about it, which all turned out to be true. We made a whole date night out to it by going to Pompieri for pizza beforehand…

    Monthly Mumbles 2022.10.31

Happy last day of October, friends! Fall has always been my favorite season—the best weather (we get to LAYER again), holidays are approaching, and food is even more abundant. Fall also seems to be the start of a busy season which explains why it’s already November. Here are some snapshots form October which kept me busy: Well, this is technically from end of September but since I wrote the last Monthly Mumbles on September 25th, I had to include it here! Monthly Mumbles 2022.09.25

Hello, friends! It’s once again time for me to ramble about random things! Life has been busy but good, and I’m excited as we get ready for Q4 and the holiday season. Here are the highlights from August and September: While shopping at either Lowe’s or Home Depot, we got a little sunflower growing kit. Alex got around to planting it a bit late in the season but we had three sunflowers in bloom for a while! My older sister Jiyoung and her husband Daniel bought a house at the beginning of summer and hosted the whole family for a housewarming party at the beginning of August! They have these…

    Celebrating Small Wins

Hi, friends! This post was originally what I wrote as a caption for an IG post recently but I decided that I want to share it on the blog and allow myself to be more open and vulnerable while also fully celebrating. I recently had a small win but I wasn’t allowing myself to celebrate it. It was not what I had been working towards or even something that I was really considering. It all happened really fast, and initially I felt grumpy and almost annoyed by it? I definitely called it a consolation prize more than once. Because it all happened really fast and it came with so much…

    Monthly Mumbles 2022.08.08

Hi, friends! How is this the first Mumbles post of the year?! I had missed writing Monthly Mumbles (because you know I love to ramble) so I’m bringing them back! (I’d like to bring back the Week in Outfits post in the near future now that I’m putting real clothes on every day again haha). Since I last chatted about random life things in this Weekend in Outfits post from May, I will catch you up on what’s happened in the last couple of months. With my sister Jiyoung’s wedding at the beginning of May, we celebrated Mother’s Day the following weekend. We had a lovely brunch followed by boba…
