What I Read in January 2022
Happy February, friends! I read quite a bit in January, especially compared to the last several months where my evening reading time has been replaced by mindless TikTok scrolling. I have made effort to prioritize reading first thing in the morning before I start work so I am getting an hour or two of reading done on a daily basis. Durham Date Night: Mothers & Sons
Can you believe it took me over 4+ years of living in Durham to make it Mothers & Sons? Well, I am glad that has been fixed. If you’re new to the Triangle area or unfamiliar, Mothers & Sons Trattoria is an Italian restaurant in downtown Durham. Alex and I FINALLY checked out Mothers & Sons during the Triangle Restaurant Week. During the Triangle Restaurant Week, a number of participating restaurants offer two or three-course menu options with fixed pricing. What I Got in My Second thredUP Order
Hi, friends! I have purged my closet quite a bit recently and got rid of all the clothes that do not fit me anymore. Because I have been wanting to buy secondhand clothes in efforts to make more sustainable choices, I decided to get some new-to-me clothes from thredUP, an online consignment/thrift store. While this was only my second time placing an order from thredUP, I browse it quite frequently. Living and Sharing Authentically
As someone who uses and shares on social media daily, I have been thinking a lot about what and how I share on social media, particularly Instagram.
