What I Read in March 2021

Hi, friends! March was a rough month for me mentally, and I didn’t read a whole lot. I watched some TV and scrolled on my phone, but otherwise, I don’t remember what I did. My reading list is a little bit all over the place but I read a couple of really good books.

    Monthly Mumbles #3

Hi, friends! On the last Sunday of March, I am back with more Mumbles. March has been a whirlwind of a month to say the least. I cannot believe w’ere already done with 1/4 of 2021 but I am really looking forward to what the rest of this year will bring. With this month’s Mumbles, I tried something different and set it up more like a photo diary—let me know what you think!

What to Do and Where to Eat in Beaufort, NC

Hi, friends! A couple of weekends ago, Alex and I had a short trip to Beaufort, NC (pronounced “bow-fort”; not to be confused with Beaufort, SC, which is pronounced “b-yew-fort”). It was my first time going to the beach in years, and Beaufort was just lovely. Named “American’s Favorite Town,” Beaufort has both small town charm and rich history, not to mention the waterfront views and amazing food! If you are considering a low-key weekend getaway, I definitely recommend heading out to the coast! In today’s post, I am sharing everything we did and ate.

    S’mores Dessert Board

Hi, friends! Another Sunday, another board post from me haha. I hope you’re excited to read this though since I haven’t done a post on a dessert board. I mentioned in my last Monthly Mumbles that we had a Smore’s night recently with our Solo Stove. You know I had to be extra and make a s’mores board haha. One night, I was searching the Internet and went down a rabbit hole of different s’mores combinations! I tried some new combos that were *chef’s kiss* and I am excited to tell you all about it.

Elevated Cheese Board with Midtown Olive Oil

Hi, friends! Last year, I visited Midtown Olive Oil and used one of their olive oils to make an olive oil cake for the first time. Since then, Alex and I have become repeat customers and have been using their olive oils and balsamic vinegars at least weekly! I recently went back and picked up a bunch of their new products that are perfect for a cheese or charcuterie board.
