What I Read in March 2022 + Reading Updates
Hi, friends! March was not a prolific reading month but I found meaning in each of the three books I read, which I think is a success! I’m also sharing a few more reading-related updates in this post so I hope you find them fun. 🥰 WHAT I READ IN MARCH A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith – 4.5 stars A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is an older release from 1943 and I won a copy from a Bookstagram giveaway! I carried this one over from February but really enjoyed reading it once I got into it. Plot-wise, it’s almost a typical coming-of-age story. Francie Nolan grows up…

Week in Outfits 2022.04.03
Hi, friends! If you missed my last blog post, I briefly talk about having taken a social media break (not posting anything & deleting IG app) for about a week and a half. It was a relatively short hiatus but also the longest I’ve ever taken. I will say though I had a great week, probably because I was more present and didn’t think about creating content as much. With that said, I had a very social week and weekend so I did manage to document my outfits on all the days I did dress up. It was a very dress-y week as you can see in the photos. 😉…

Cherry Blossom Weekend in DC
Hi, friends! I took a short break from Instagram for about the last week and a half so writing this blog post makes me feel like I’m almost resurfacing to social media, considering that I haven’t shared anything on any social media platform during this time. I have deleted Instagram a few times before, especially when my anxiety was pretty high last year, but I have never gone for this long without having Instagram since I first made an account probably back in 2012 or something. To be honest, I have been loving life without Instagram and am debating even to this moment if I should download the app again……

Week in Outfits 2022.03.20
How Last Week Went While nothing extraordinary happened, last week was a good one! Maybe because it was an ordinary one. Most of Q1 had been hard for me so having a solidly medium week was almost like a high?! The longer days are definitely helping with my mental health too. What I’m Looking Forward to This Week I’m having a short work week and heading up to DC for a quick getaway! You know four-day work weeks are my favorite and I am very much excited to eat all of the food. THURSDAY I got to attend a cake making class with La Recette Patisserie, and it was one…

Honest Review of Universal Standard “Mystery Box” 2022
Hi, friends! Universal Standard has been on my radar for the last few years, especially since I began having disposable income recently and deciding to be more mindful of what I buy and what businesses I buy from. Universal Standard is a clothing brand with inclusive sizing (sizes 00-40), which I love! I made my first purchase from them a few weeks ago when they had one of their Mystery Box sales. As the name suggests, Mystery Boxes are a surprise selection of items based on your size and the box that you choose. They had quite a selection but I chose the “Classic Box” ($148) to play safe. I…
