Week(end) in Outfits 2022.02.13

Hi, friends! I am back with my first Week in Outfits post of 2022! Week in Outfits posts became one of my favorite posts to write about since it motivated me to put different outfits together and also gave me a chance to reflect on a weekly basis. I am still figuring out some of the stuff I want to do for the blog (a big portion being deciding how I want to store and organize the photos and videos) so I haven’t been taking as many photos this year, including outfits photos!

Adding to that, there had been some days where I was frankly struggling mentally and didn’t want to put on real clothes, wore the same thing for days, or stayed in my bathrobe all day. There were also days when I put on cute outfits but didn’t get a good photo of and I felt like I couldn’t write one of these posts with just a couple of photos?! (If you’re on TikTok, I have been sharing some OOTD videos on there!) Anyways, I am back with three outfit photos because that’s the best I could do this time! Here’s how my weekend went:

FRIDAY

I carried over some PTO from last year so I took off of work on Friday! I went on a solo date to Fount Coffee in the morning with a book and got an avocado toast with bacon added, which is probably my favorite thing there. In the afternoon, I met up with Sujung for a manicure date at Bijou Nails, which recently opened in Cary. I just got this Target dress a week ago and have already worn it three times! Sujung got the same dress in pink stripes so we wore our matching dresses for the date. 🥰

SATURDAY

Alex and I did an early Valentine’s Day Dinner at Sushi Mon, which is our annual tradition! He gifted me these roses and I really wanted to get a photo of me posing with them. We have terrible lighting at home so here’s a photo of me awkwardly sitting on the stairs. I had to crop out our vacuum which lives right next to the staircase haha!

SUNDAY

I hosted a small Galentine’s Day Brunch (on actual Galentine’s Day too) and it was lovely! I made a waffle board and ordered a small cake from Little Barb’s Bakery, which was absolutely perfect for the occasion. It was also Super Bowl Sunday, for which I changed into my tie-dye sweatshirt and 5-year-old leggings but sadly I didn’t get a photo of that outfit. 🥺
